| 637618 | 2008-02-05 04:57:00 | Hi - I'm running Vista Home Premium and have "lost" my printer. I get a spooling error - Have tried to use the launch disk (normally for XP) and no go - the PC doesnt recognise the (HP 3745) printer when conned by USB 2 cable Any ideas please ?/:( :( |

| 637619 | 2008-02-05 05:02:00 | Can you see the printer in the device manager? XP Drivers won't work..that may well be half the problem. Have you tried uninstalling the printer through Programs and Features, then rebooting, and reinstalling the latest drivers (which you will download from the HP website (h10025.www1.hp.com)). :D |

| 637620 | 2008-02-05 05:19:00 | There is actualy no driver there for vista, I was just on the same track wratterus :) there is just an info telling you that you dont need to download anything, as its allready in vista! haha but there is a Diagnostic Utility (h10025.www1.hp.com) so that shoud hopefully fix the prob Did you connect in the right order... switch printer on THEN plug in usb |

| 637621 | 2008-02-05 05:25:00 | Yes, the H P drivers are already in Vista. 1 Try another USB cable/ or 2 Turn off the P C and then disconnect the printer Turn P C back on and wait until it settles down Then connect the printer cable [with the printer turned on]. It is not an unusual happening, best of British luck! |
