Were those recommendations from NZers, as there are similar sounding NZ companies that you may have got confused with. You can get cheaper pricing for .com domains from www.godaddy.com and they have been around for years and are one of the larger domain registrars. I have heard of cases where people have registered .com domains with a company, and the company has just disappeared, and they lost their domain too, as it wasn't registered under their name. |
