Opera and Firefox (and Mozilla??) do and since most of us use one of those two browsers I reckon we are entitled to one. :pThis is very enlightning ... up until this point I was thinking how nice the PF1 favicon is that I always have displayed ... guess others are not getting this? This is with Firefox. Screenshot (sal.neoburn.net) - although it is hard to see, if you look at the favicon under Firefox > Manage bookmarks it is quite cleary shows a keyboard key with "F1" on it. :D |

If that's the case, then someone had better tell mike (sal.neoburn.net). Favicons have only ever worked in IE when you have added the site to your favourites. If you add a site to your IE favourites, and it has a favicon available, the favicon will be visible whenever you visit that site. If you empty your temp internet files etc., or delete your favourites, the favicon will disappear. Mike. |

Furthermore, my bookmark to PressF1 shows the PressF1 favicon mentioned by Jen (you're not the only one that sees it!), though half the time it gets replaced by the Telecom logo... :@@: |

| 313891 | 2005-01-16 18:48:00 | dudes, the favicon you see is the vbulletin one, this must have replaced our F1 icon when Jim updated the server - I'll get him to reinstall it. As for removing the "powered by vBulletin", we are quite happy to leave it there.. the vBulletin team did a lot of hard work for us during the changeover from Jive, plus it's less than a third of the cost! |
