| 637924 | 2008-02-06 11:47:00 | I have a sony PSP and i have 2 memory sticks for it a 1 gig and a 32 meg , my psp won't read the 1 gig and when i stcik it in the computer i get a I\O error , if i can get inside the card i can rebuild the PSP folder Structure but i need to get past the I\O error , any help ? Motherboard: ASUS Echo 4 Processor: Intel 2.8 gig Memory: 1 gig OS:Windows XP Home Service Pack 2 |

| 637925 | 2008-02-06 19:22:00 | Welcome to PressF1 spike. It sounds as though the card might be buggered. If windows won't open it, really the only option left is to try with some form of Linux , a GParted Live CD (sourceforge.net) would be the easiest, and see if that will touch it. I/O (Input/Output) errors are normally reasonably fatal with those cards. If you want to give GParted a go and are not sure what to do, post again and someone will give you instructions. |
