2008-02-10 18:40:00 I have a .mov file which was created by a friend on a Mac, and it is refusing to play on my PC correctly. I can see video, but no audio. I have tried both VLC Media Player and K-Lite codec packs, and both only render the video, with no audio.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong?

2008-02-10 18:52:00 Try a few other video players; Quicktime and MPlayer in particular. Also, post up the audio codec and encoding info. ;) jason_f90 (3544)
2008-02-10 18:54:00 Quicktime should play it. If not check your codecs. Bantu (52)

2008-02-10 19:45:00 Thanks guys. I've found that Youtube will happily pick up the audio, and convert it for me. I'll give that AoA extractor a go. somebody (208)
