If you did, I would uninstall them and get them from the gigabyte site you posted. If you installed another soundcard, disable the onboard soundcard in the BIOS |

No I didn't install the drivers from the mobo cd.I installed the drivers that came with my sound card (Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio).I think I have got the lastest version from Microsoft updates though.I'll go to the Creative site now and see if I can find the latest driver |

| 639120 | 2008-02-11 00:11:00 | I think I have got the lastest version from Microsoft updates though.I'll go to the Creative site now and see if I can find the latest driver BAD IDEA. DON'T install drivers from the WU site . They'll always stuff things up. ALWAYS install drivers from the makers site. Uninstall the Creative drivers in add/remove programs. Download the latest drivers from the Creative site. Disable the onboard sound. Reinstall the creative drivers. Hopefully the latest version overwrites the MS drivers. |

You'll soon find out. Just remember NOT to download, or install ANY drivers from the Windowsupdate site. It didnt crash any other time did it?? I would say if the ram was the prob, you would be crashing more often, and not just when playing games. The system would crash constantly when using Windows. |
