317754 2005-01-25 10:16:00 How come everytime you quote someone's post Ele, it comes up with "pressf1.pcworld.co.nz etc. instead of the emoticon? Seems to only happen with you.

To be quite frank I have no idea.

You can go and do what you want.

I have found that this did not happen quoting you on this one and how can you possibly say that it happens with ALL my quotes?

Please get a sense of humour Ele. pressf1.pcworld.co.nz

Test about rolling eyes for E*im.

This was a quote.

I would think that we will get all the links that E*im put in for smileys.

Call them smileys. I don't think so.

317756 2005-01-25 10:29:00 Guess what.

I completely freakin lost.

shrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmm.....11 111

Well it won't be long before you are not lost.
All you have to do is read the posts.

This is another quote and hopefully will not offend you.
I take it that we will not get rollimg eyes on this one.

I think it happens when you quote someone's post that has a "smilie" or "emoticon" in it.

Test it and quote this post.

If I edit which I did for this then in your quote the links show up.

So are you testing this and you want to know what happens?

All quoted.

Why do you think I care?

Why do you have to have a moan when all I did was to ask a question in this thread?

SY was kind enough to answer and I have now worked out that the thread ( this one ) was about legal issues being copied from one company to another.

In a preview the emoticons do not show up here before the reply is submitted.

If I go back then they show.

You can't possibly say that all quotes from me show all these links as I said before.

Just my 2 cents worth.

317759 2005-01-25 11:35:00 I did read the thread before I posted!

This thread (original) was posted by SY and I read all bits before I posted . This thread appeared to me to have no real point if you look at the start of it . Well obviously not, as his post linked to the site which was using a direct copy and paste of Ascent's terms and conditions . If you'd followed the link (hence reading the post completely) you would have seen this .

If other threads were about then I don't read all threads .
I do have a life . Irrelevant . There were no other threads about this, however the amount of upset you seem to have over being corrected leads me to doubt the existence of this purported "life" you have .

I suggest you have the sort of day you deserve . I suggest you maybe loosen up the old strides a bit and chill out .

317760 2005-01-25 17:10:00 Why doesn't someone draw Ascent's attention to it?

I love Ascent. The best in the Country. I'm happy to pay a bit more (sometimes), for their excellent service. They can not be faulted.

317761 2005-01-25 17:36:00 Hey guys, time for everyone to wind it down. There is nothing to get all heated about.

Because Playtech have now changed their Privacy Policy since ~sy~'s original post alerting us to the references to Ascent in it, it no longer makes as much sense to those who are seeing the thread for the first time when they follow that link.

At least Playtech now have a more appropriate Privacy Policy. :p

And about the quoted smilies ... not sure why that happens sometimes - such is life :)
