Er, the name is so so familiar. Now either it because he was at DSIR, IPD, at Gracefield, or, he was one of my young sister Susan's very many boyfriends, so many I lost track. Ask him if Pound Road, Oldbury means anything to him ;) I never had anything to do with BSA, in the 1950s I was at Joseph Lucas, Shaftmore Lane B'ham, and one of the metallurgists there was Dennis O'Brien. He just happened to be one of the first people I met at DSIR when I came 20 years later. |
