| 639016 | 2008-02-11 04:37:00 | Just fyi, Slingshot are now hosting servers and are currently running about 4 different games with more to come . A pity their support is rubbish . Xnet are a good ISP, far better and more reliable than slingshot . The only thing is they appear to be bed with telecom on a few projects, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing . Orcon were good, but I have heard of a few dissatisfied people since they were sold . They are also now owned by SOE Kordia, so are government owned . I would say with Xnet or Orcon you couldn't go wrong, and at least you are supporting a NZ owned business . If you went for Vodafone or Telstra, a lot of the money you are paying goes offshore, which isn't good for the NZ economy . |
