639012 2008-02-10 22:11:00 ICONZ are pretty gaming orientated; they're the only ISP to have a real gaming hub/forums (ICONZ Arena) and host more game servers than any other NZ ISP that I'm aware of. jason_f90 (3544)
639013 2008-02-10 22:18:00 No complaints with Orcon Bobh (5192)
639014 2008-02-10 22:20:00 Xnet for me. Had no spam since I ditched Xtra when it went with yahoo. steelsporran (6566)

A pity their support is rubbish .

Xnet are a good ISP, far better and more reliable than slingshot . The only thing is they appear to be bed with telecom on a few projects, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing .

Orcon were good, but I have heard of a few dissatisfied people since they were sold . They are also now owned by SOE Kordia, so are government owned .

I would say with Xnet or Orcon you couldn't go wrong, and at least you are supporting a NZ owned business . If you went for Vodafone or Telstra, a lot of the money you are paying goes offshore, which isn't good for the NZ economy .
