| 317114 | 2005-01-23 03:36:00 | The office is in Aussie, The prices are in NZ, The site in question is aimed at the NZ market. Are the prices $NZ? The only info I could find about the currency was when I clicked "Customer Terms" at the bottom of the page, where it said: Payment Terms; Orders; Interest. Advertised prices are in Australian Dollars It also lists and Australian freephone number for customer phone orders on the supposedly New Zealand webpage. Mike. |

| 317116 | 2005-01-23 19:10:00 | It'd be much cheaper to build your own system and buy a classy case from Styles (http://www.stylespc.co.nz). | pixeldust (6619) | ||
| 317117 | 2005-01-24 10:41:00 | hmmm.....I have to supply a quote for a family comp tomorrow,so just to compere i made it the same specs as the Alianware which they have listed at $2,187, and it comes with no speakers nor monitor, Mine has a 17" CRT and a set of half decent 2.1 speakers. My quote came in under $1500,Which is near $700 cheaper, when you factor in a monitor thats $900 difference. Granted i didn't factor in a top of the line case,but even if i did that would add another $100 to my price. |

| 317119 | 2005-01-24 12:42:00 | Same story here Metla. I think give them a wide berth, people. NZ sites with overseas phone numbers is the first bad sign.... Not necisarily bad in a dodgy-company way, but something about them says not quite as local as it seems. And that is not good. You can find just as good a case elsewhere. |
