639212 2008-02-10 20:16:00 Hi All,

Currently, we POP our mail down to Dunedin from an Exchange 2003 box at head office in Auckand. We're starting to dabble with OWA for our sales reps and managers, and I'd like to get this as functional as possible.

The first sticking point is Contacts - does anyone know if it's possible to import a .csv into OWA? I've had a good look, and I can't see any provision for this??

Cheers
Chris

No - our e-mail is entirely POP3; all contacts reside in the users' .pst file along with everything else. That's the issue really - the exchange server wouldn't know about anything other that the mail that resides in each mailbox until the user does a send/receive.

There is an issue with sync'ing, in that POP3 removes mail from the exchange box once downloaded, but at the moment, those looking to use OWA won't use standard Outlook.

Hope that all makes sense!! :o

Is it possible to get someone up at head office to log into Outlook as each of the sales reps, and manually import a CSV file that way? Once it's established, as long as the reps are using OWA exclusively, then their contacts will all be in one place.
