I have a .mov file which was created by a friend on a Mac, and it is refusing to play on my PC correctly. I can see video, but no audio. I have tried both VLC Media Player and K-Lite codec packs, and both only render the video, with no audio.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong? |

Try a few other video players; Quicktime and MPlayer in particular. Also, post up the audio codec and encoding info. ;) |

Quicktime should play it. If not check your codecs. |

See if you can extract the audio with the free AoA (www.aoamedia.com)extractor... |

Thanks guys. I've found that Youtube will happily pick up the audio, and convert it for me. I'll give that AoA extractor a go. |
