| 639019 | 2008-02-10 05:13:00 | Hey people. I am planning to buy a cheap apple laptop. I found the faulty apple laptop. (corrupted logic board). Anyone knows where i can fix the problem? Or do you think i should buy it and get it fixed? | grahic (12930) | ||

Probably less fuss to seek out a 2nd hand one in good working order from trademe or checkout the deals from the two links below. The G4 iBook is getting pretty old. Or do you think i should buy it and get it fixed? logic board would probably run you around$800- $1000 to replace. There was a replacement program running for faulty ones. You could check the serial number on the ibook to see if its one of the ones apple was replacing. DON'T waste your money, but if you do I have 12inch ibook sitting in a draw with faulty board. |
