| 638869 | 2008-02-09 09:28:00 | You'll need to either spring for NOD32 or uninstall and switch to a free (www.free-av.com/) alternative (http:) (ThreatFire isn't a straight-out AV program but it would suffice). Asking for a key for one of the forums fav. AV programs too isn't a good idea. | sal (67) | ||

| 638874 | 2008-02-09 21:25:00 | click start / run / type in msconfig - Start up Tab disable Nod Security from starting at boot the one you want is eugi - reboot, go to add remove programs and uninstall. You will find Nod and Avast / Comodo are fighting one another. It CLEARLY states when installing Nod to uninstall ANY other Antivirus or Firewalls FIRST. Even the message you posted says it - " please shut down all other applications first" |

| 638876 | 2008-02-09 21:53:00 | So do you still have Nod installed, and did you put avast/comodo in while Nod is still installed because the original post contradicts its self i have just gone over my NOD 32 20day trial period and i want to install it How can you go over the trial period, then want to install it if its already there ? The trial version from Eset comes with a user name and password for the trial preinstalled, if you purchase it, you simply click on Setup User Name and Password (www.imagef1.net.nz) and enter the details sent to you, no need to uninstall the trial - Easy, I do this god knows how many times a week - never a problem. |
