639654 2008-02-12 05:32:00 I'm looking for a program that will allow me to extract the L/R music channels on a 5.1 audio DVD so I can make them into MP3s. Can anyone recommend one to me? Chris815 (10270)

639656 2008-02-12 06:50:00 Thanks, but does it let you choose what channels to extract? I don't want all of them, just 1 and 2 which are the left and right channels, respectively. Chris815 (10270)

639661 2008-02-12 07:32:00 If your saving audio from a commercial DVD it is probably illegal.

However, if you save the video/audio to avi or mpeg you can extract the audio with likes of Goldwave and save it off as wav or mp3

I am just wanting to save two channels of the 6, for my own use.

639663 2008-02-12 07:37:00 As I've said here (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz), I use DVD Audio Ripper (www.imtoo.com) -- works wonders! :) davehartley (3487)
