639555 2008-02-11 22:11:00 My boss has just bought a new Toshiba Portege R500 which he will travel extensively with. He has several ways of connecting while he's away - wifi, a Vodafone card, connecting to a hotel's connection using a network cable. As a final back up, he uses a dial up connection in places where there are no other options. However his new Toshiba doesn't seem to have a port to plug in a dial up cable.

Are there any such thing as a dial up cable that can be connected to a USB port (or any other port)?

Thanks
Susan

How did you manage that, what did you use for a driver.
