318284 2005-01-26 08:36:00 I just changed my signature and happened to look at a thread that I had contributed to. Interesting to see that my signature had updated even on an old post. Curiouser and curiouser.... Misty (368)

The members title, posts, signature etc are all dynamic and rendered from a single stored source when called on to display.

318286 2005-01-27 07:36:00 Hi Godfather
I had actually figured that out....though I had not thought particularly of the word "rendered" .....my "curiouser" was designed to evoke something other than just a straight pragmatic answer. It is "curiously" like rewriting history !!
In "Omar Khyam" - (sure the spelling is probably deficient), I seem to recall the words "the moving finger writes on and having written yet having written cannot cancel yet one line". Okay, am sure that someone will correct the exact wording - by checking with Google - but is'nt the point that we understand that what has happened cannot be changed, even if we have made a terrific blue - we have to learn to live with it. Logic therefore is not an answer - just learning to live with what it is to be human.

Thus endeth the thought for today ! :)

The moving finger writes, and having written moves on. Nor all thy piety nor all thy wit, can cancel half a line of it.
