318997 2005-01-29 01:58:00 Mine was a bit disappointing, I was up at 9am trying to get 2 adult tickets to go over to Brisbane and had them booked and I was about to enter my CC details, then I decided to book the return journey at the same time to get $1 back the other way. Then I enter the CC details:

"Error - The fares and/or flights that you selected are no longer available... although they were when the system displayed them to you initially. Someone else has just purchased the seat(s) that you were considering.

Your credit card has not been charged."

  :(

I thought it was a done deal, but apparently it doesn't secure them unless you've put the CC details in and submitted it. Something to remember for next time anyway.

Though I did manage to get two $1 tickets back from Brisbane to Chch. Airport taxes $90 each so still $186 for the lot. What's a petrol surcharge fee? Sounds like they are making you pay for fuel one way or another.

319000 2005-01-31 21:04:00 Ah, we might have known you had ulterior motives behind the noble deed - you blokes always do. :p :D

Nah... it was a noble deed and I'm sure your brownie points will last quite a while. ;)

Hope Mrs bartsdadhomer has a great time.

319001 2005-01-31 22:14:00 Yeah I agree with Foxy - that was the coolest! If Barts had mentioned what was truthfully behind the idea (remember the "Speights and Sheilas" comment? ) I reckon wed've been even more encouraged to find him his tickets! :) Greg (193)
