| 639615 | 2008-02-12 08:14:00 | Win 98 cd's generally do not boot (like XP does), though some proprietary OEM versions may do (Dell etc), you'll need a boot floppy probably ;) That's what the computer is asking for (3.5 inch floppy boot disk), jjmounds. | 639617 | 2008-02-12 20:48:00 | Wrong. Right^ :lol: It won't format the drive for you, you'll want a floppy with fdisk on it for that, but it will definitely boot, and install Windows. You'll need to check the boot order in the BIOS though, make sure the CD drive is before the HDD. |
