640584 2008-02-15 06:07:00 Hi all,

I want to get a trial copy of Windows Vista, but don't fancy the 1.6GB download available from Here. (www.microsoft.com.nsatc.net) :waughh:

Can you order trial DVDs from MS?

Or can you buy a copy of Vista with a 30-day trial key online?

Or can I borrow a disc from someone WITHOUT the product key (is this legal)?

EDIT: Vista Ultimate preferred - want to test out all features.

.

Yes.
Legal? So long as you don't try anything naughty it should be.

I believe that Microsoft did send people beta dvd's. However, I think that it cost something.

Best to leave the download over night

640587 2008-02-15 08:43:00 If you can borrow a vista DVD (any one will do as all Vista DVDs have every version on them) from someone just install it without a product key, choose the version you want to install and you will get 30 days to trial it before you will need to put in a product key and activate it. 640588 2008-02-15 08:54:00 I don't know anyone who has Vista. Where do you suggest I go to get a disc?

Do the OEM discs also have all versions of Vista on them?
