322167 2005-02-08 07:41:00 Quelle amusant Billy. :D :D You are quite a wit.

Now for Tom's problem. I've considered this deeply and resorted to my 7th form chemistry text wherein lie all answers when otherwise baffled.

No worries Tom - get your hands on some hydrofluoric acid. It'll get rid of your unsightly layer of detritus.

Cheers

PS. Ummm.................use gloves. :badpc:
Will give it a go 001.Ta.

322168 2005-02-08 07:44:00 Just think about the extraordinary complexity of this problem Cicero, and it suddenly occurred to me :o

Assuming of course that you have updated the screen drivers to the latest version, have you tried a cold reboot? It may not clarify the image, but you won't be in there long enough to notice. :p

From the general interest shown in your ablutionary activities, I'd also update your anti-spyware as well.

Cheers

Sorry B,but it would seem my one liners are offensive to you all,so will desist.

Bugger, I was really looking forward to your take on my computer analogy T :(

Can't say as I've noticed any one-liners in this thread for anyone to worry about, but I haven't really been looking either. I thought it was rolling along quite nicely and politely with heaps of suggestions and dash of lunacy thrown in for good measure.

Cheers

322172 2005-02-08 14:04:00 Yes of course it was all good clean fun, as Poppa John says.

Now - at the risk of seeming boring after all the wonderful solutions proffered - may I suggest dull options like asking either the manufacturer of said shower door, the shop which sold it to Cicero or the firm which installed it - or did I miss those answers?

After all, it was called a "new shower." And nowadays we expect service information as right, don' t we? David Russell from Consumer would be ashamed of you, Cicero....

(Mind you, if Jif doesn't do it & the queues are forming, why would you want an effective remedy. Make the most of it & enjoy...)
