640692 2008-02-16 03:36:00 Safari, I'm not sure what's causing your problem. I'm getting much better performance from three different PCs in three locations.

In terms of the way we "fixed" the ads during January's serving glitches - our owners did not regard turning them off as a long term solution.

I was not talking about when the ads were switched off.
The ads have been back on for some time and things have been fine.

I haven't really got a problem but don't see any of this snappier performance that is being talked about.

As far as I can see there is no difference in speed between before and after the web redesign you are talking about.

640693 2008-02-16 05:01:00 Won't go backwards useing the the back button in IE7. Sometimes it goes to the previous page when you hit the backward button.
:)

Same here, when you click back from the second or third page of posts on a thread, the page flickers, but stays on the same page. I'm using IE7 too.

640697 2008-02-16 20:15:00 Mm, mostly the same if not on the side of snappier. I can appreciate the underlying structure overhaul so props to Cindy Parks and the team. Only a few odd (browsershots.org) browser shots (browsershots.org) but those are probably localised problems. sal (67)
