641863 2008-02-19 02:00:00 In Outlook 2003 when start a new message and type in the names – after the first few letters are typed up comes a choice of names – not necessarily from the Contacts list. There are some errors in these choices – how can I delete those names?!
Thanks

641864 2008-02-19 02:04:00 If you get multiple choices with Auto-suggest, just arrow down the list that pops up, and press the 'delete' key on the one you don't want.

Should be simple as that. :)

Yup that works.
Had to do that to my Outlook a few weeks ago.

Thanks

The names aren't really stored anywhere that I'm aware of. It's not a delete option you're looking for either - you simply arrow down on your arrow keys, and press the 'Delete' key.

I've just tried it on my Outlook 2003 and it works fine.

641868 2008-02-19 22:38:00 Delete the Outlook .NK2 file, which is where the name cache is stored

This will clear all your cached names out and return it to default
