The task bar is kind of messed up, I have tried everything I can think of to get it back to normal, but to no avail.

Anyone who can point me in the right direction?

TIA.

641873 2008-02-19 01:54:00 Hi Does Click and drag down the top of the bar work? Rock (7239)
641874 2008-02-19 01:55:00 Hi Wratterus. Apart from being twice the normal height... what is wrong with it - purely a lay-mans observation, you understand. If it is the height, then hovering over the top of the bar to see a two headed arrpow will permit it to be dragged down to single layer height. Or am i missing the technical point? I often get my head bitten off at this stage of my enquiries...... Scouse (83)
641875 2008-02-19 02:07:00 Try right-clicking in the quicklaunch bar (but not on an icon). Go to View, and click 'small icons'.

I think you have to unlock the taskbar before you can do this.

Tried that thanks nofam, but that just for the start menu.

Dragging it doesn't work, I believe it's caused by the size of the quick launch buttons, but can't figure out how to make them...smaller...

Oh gawd.

I've just deleted all the buttons from the quick launch, then removed and put back the quick launch buttons. All ok now.

Cheers guys.

PS.

Scouse, it wasn't such a problem, more I wanted to figure out how to sort it. now I know. Thanks for your comments. :)

641877 2008-02-19 03:10:00 You have selected large icons, use small ones. pctek (84)

Or you may have to buy a larger monitor then your icons will look smaller:-)
