So said Edmund Burke, which is fitting for what happened in Rwanda, where the UN and Western powers stood by and argued over what colour to paint their armoured cars whilst women and children were being cut to pieces with machetes. The BBC is running a series of articles over the 10th anniversary of that gruesome conflict, beginning with this article (news.bbc.co.uk).

325873 2005-02-17 09:21:00 The Panorama article illustrates clearly the Panorama world view, which has been noticed in other things they have done. The one from Terry shows what seems to nme a more balanced view ( meaning I agree with it .. (g)). But just take a look over the rest of Africa - tribe A is getting stuck into Tribe B in the normal manner. Who are we to intervene in their way of doing things ??? TonyF (246)
