Just the assumption that open-source < MS products is crazy. I use MS OS' and a lot of their products but like hell I'd give up a lot of my apps that are open source. Like Comodo over Windows Defender Nero over whatever XP/Vista can do Avast over...? CCleaner and HJT over Disk Cleanup and Dr. Watson/Events viewer |

| 641347 | 2008-02-20 07:43:00 | Err I think youre getting confused between free and open source BW Just because its free, it doesnt mean anyone can code / change / update it. ie: Comodo maybe free, but I dont they'll give the code to anyone to update it / make changes to it. Likewise for Ccleaner and HJT. In order for something to be open source the source code must be available as well (ie: linux/ff) |
