324878 2005-02-15 00:56:00 Is the use of sarcasm a bannable offence or not?

Or is it based purely on user name?

Zero tolerence for a select few maybe?
Yep, yep and yep. Sums it up nicely.

324881 2005-02-15 02:18:00 Thats a bit harsh Tony, I don't think GF has a chip on his shoulder.....Though maybe he might refrain from unleashing his sarcasm in the future.

Oh wait, That only applies to the chosen few.

Muhahahahahaha.

Whatever you do, Don't ever even contemplate that someone holding their own views may have a point. The world may explode.

Or even the wise and learned may learn something.

I have no problem with robust intelligent debate. I can even cope with people who's views differ from mine. What gets up my nose is when a thread about a technical issue goes way off track because some people (not pointing fingers in any particular direction), can't resist weighing in with comments that are totally irrelevant to the topic under discussion and other people (ditto) can't resist being sucked in. And all this time the original poster is probably totally frustrated because their question has been totally lost in the mire. If I seem heated, it is because it has happened to me on more than one occasion.[/rant]
