323606 2005-02-10 21:41:00 or am I the only weak softy who gives in too easily?

Yes. As I once said to my wife, who was demanding some home-handymanship: "I own a power tool -- it's called my chequebook"

323607 2005-02-10 23:18:00 Well just remember that it works both ways, guys. If you don't do things for her then she won't be so willing to do things for you when you want something done. ;) FoxyMX (5)

323610 2005-02-11 02:43:00 Right then, John has very kindly sent me the pics of his ingenious No . 8 wire solution which looks the bee knees! The back of John's desk is here ( . mscandy . orcon . net . nz/pics/john_back . jpg" target="_blank">www . mscandy . orcon . net . nz) and the front here ( . mscandy . orcon . net . nz/pics/john_front . jpg" target="_blank">www . mscandy . orcon . net . nz) .

I thought I was reasonably tidy and organised but his nice office/work area makes mine look like a bomb hit it . :p

Thanks John, I'll be having a "little word" to The Boss this weekend . ;)

323611 2005-02-11 02:56:00 Thanks FoxyMX. If you look carefully you can see the latest edition of NZ PC World to the right of my desk by the filing cabinet!

Wilderness Magazine (or Adventure?) used to feature pix of people reading their mag in surprising places, like the top of Everest etc. Maybe we should start a similar thing with our fav mag! This pix does not count...

That would definitely solve the leak in the ceiling above my office, would make a nice feeding trough for the mice as well

I don't have a problem with mice here - only hedgehogs, and like white men, they cannot jump that high!

Hi John
Your computer desk looks the same as mine. Did you take three hours to put it together - never to be taken apart !? The makers are really thorough and have thought through every detail.
