| 641617 | 2008-02-18 08:04:00 | You already have another thread about this... but to give you an example, I get (most of the time) 20-23ms pings to most NZ servers on peering networks. Add another 8-10ms for those who don't peer. Add another 120-150ms for US servers on decent networks, and a little more for European ones. Don't know about asian servers, I rarely use them. Note that I am not a gamer, these tests are just with a standard ICMP ping. ISP is Xnet, interleaving is off. Modem downstream sync is usually around 4200k/sec. Real-world speeds usually fill that pipe completely, so no problems there :thumbs:. |
