641013 2008-02-17 04:41:00 Hi there,
I've got a basic microsoft keyboard with three multimedia buttons. I'm wondering if there is some way i can assign these three buttons different things that aren't email web and search ? there's nothing in keyboard options in control panel.

Cheers

641014 2008-02-17 04:46:00 Did it come with software? if it did, use that Speedy Gonzales (78)
641015 2008-02-17 04:51:00 You Sure can as Long as the software is installed as Speedy said.

Click Start/control Panel keyboard, look for key Settings, and change to what ever you require.

641021 2008-02-17 09:30:00 The Intellitype drivers will work, they do for my MS wireless k/b although I got the software bundled.

Then you can tweak till the cows come home lol.

641022 2008-02-17 11:32:00 You can remap any keys to any other keys by editing the registry

which can be done manually as shown here: searchwinit.techtarget.com

Or you can use a program to do it for you, for example: webpages.charter.net
