| 1423851 | 2016-07-30 04:25:00 | Using Win7, when I put my card reader into the USB port it used to bring up a window which asked what action to take, in Win10 this doesn't happen. Is there any way to restore this or get something similar to what I had previously. This Win10 is sure keeping me busy trying to restore things.!! |

Choose the default action when a removable drive is plugged in. Choose the default action when a memory card is plugged in. |

I don't have Win7 anymore but from memory when I put the card reader in it brought up a window with several choices, i.e. Do you want to view the pictures in Picasa or something similar. Scan disk.? or the like. I guess it is just a matter of realizing that Win10 is different. So far I am having trouble with two important programmes and I am cursing Win10 at times. But I have burnt my bridges and ejected Win7. |

If you go into the Auto play as Driftwood posted and change them to ask every time, See below: You'll Be asked each time 7330 7331 There will be a bar fly out asking as well normally bottom Right, but you have to be quick, cant have a snooze while mucking around doing something else or you'll miss it. BUT once you select one option that's the one it Will do next time. |
