1423714 2016-07-26 05:40:00 I'm having trouble with online audio from radionz, since they changed their web page. The sound works in Windows 7, but not in Linuxmint, or WXP.

Could you please try www.radionz.co.nz/audio/live/national A black window comes up, which I think is their player, and there is a "play" arrow to start the audio. It will probably work for you in W7, but can anyone try Linux and WXP please. Using Firefox.

1423716 2016-07-26 06:38:00 Just had to install FF, but on XP played fine. Played OK on W7 as well.

Cant test Linux as I don't have any installed.

1423717 2016-07-26 07:31:00 I'm running Zorin Linux, and have no problems with playing audio on RNZs new webpage. Brian B (6530)
1423718 2016-07-26 07:53:00 A handy URL shortcut to RNZ National to put in your favourite player like VLC or Winamp is radionz-ice.streamguys.com Terry Porritt (14)
1423719 2016-07-26 08:41:00 Thanks for the tests everyone. I must have done something that is blocking it. I'll download a Portable FF, and try that in its unfiddled state!

Your mp3 link worked for me Terry. Played straight away in the browser. I immediately retried the link in my first post, and it still didn't work. That wasn't in portable FF, by the way. I haven't downloaded it yet.

1423720 2016-07-26 22:01:00 Your link works fine in Chrome/Android Marshmallow! John H (8)
1423721 2016-07-26 22:03:00 Problem solved with the RNZ audio. I had disabled dom.storage in about:config. Setting that back to True fixed it.

Thanks again.
