1423230 2016-07-17 08:05:00 Hi All

On my W10 desktop I had an Icon folder holding various computer stores names etc. It has disappeared. I don't think I have deleted it probably moved it. How can I find it? Thanks. PJ

Put the name of the Folder into search and go

1423234 2016-07-17 23:57:00 To the right of the Start Button ( 1st icon) , looks like a Magnifying Glass. Click it, type in the name of the folder or name of a file that's in there, and search will look to see if it can find it. If it does you can right click it /open file location, or double click it to open - in the address bar along the top of the window will be its location. If it doesn't find it then that's a different story. wainuitech (129)
1423235 2016-07-18 00:47:00 Desktop cleanup may have removed it ?

Does Win10 do that auto desktop cleanup/remove unused shortcuts that XP etc used to do ?

1423237 2016-07-18 03:12:00 Problem solved. Found Search in AllApps. Now pinned to start. Search could not find the folder.

So I had a look in all the screen icons on the left side of the screen. The little devil had moved into My News icon. Me of course. Duh. Thanks PJ
