I can't comment on the smell because the only time I've seen it was when a mate had nearly completed some furniture and he was in the process of waxing it. | 1420875 | 2016-05-23 20:03:00 | Could also be macrocarpa which has a strong aromatic smell. However on furniture you can't trust the colour as it could be stained. Macrocarpa varies in colour from similar to pine to slightly yellow or orangy and can also look like rimu. Once you've smelt it you won't mistake it for those though. |
