| 1420656 | 2016-05-19 02:37:00 | I've just tried this, and unfortunately it still seems to 'scan' for updates before installing. On a brand new PC with 8GB RAM and a SSD it's been going for over 3 hours, svchost maxed out using 4GB of RAM or something. So MS really haven't helped much by doing this... The only thought I have would be to try installing it offline and see if it actually works. |
