1420490 2016-05-18 02:01:00 Hey Greg ...... I wonder if a nice single-malt Scotch would be nice? I prefer Glenlevit (img.thewhiskyexchange.com), neat, water side.

Codeine and it's cousins cause constipation, whereas the Scotch - if too much is consumed - only causes a hangover. :devil

I hate taking vicadin and tramadol because of the intestinal grief it causes. That's kinda funny. The doctors also prescribed me blimmin anti-constipation meds! LOLOLOLOL I mean realy, all I need is bed rest and pain meds. LOL However, after investigation, some of the meds cause constipation. *sigh*

1420491 2016-05-18 03:58:00 Codeine and it's cousins cause constipation,.

For some people, and depending on how much you take.
I've never had that issue.

1420493 2016-05-18 14:40:00 Are there any pits? I don't like pits, ya know.

And they're wrinkled. I don't like wrinkles either.

Actually I like them a lot. My wife consumes then stewed.

1420495 2016-05-19 05:59:00 Perhaps if they wrote "De-pitted" the condition of the things would be less ambiguous? ;) R2x1 (4628)
1420496 2016-05-19 09:10:00 I recall watching a televised interview with some ancient (i.e. 100+) Mediterranean old duck who, when complimented on her smooth facial skin said the only prune-like part of her was what she sat on ...

1420498 2016-05-20 00:45:00 Have you ever been on Amiodarone (Cordarone) Joe?

If you haven't it may pay to mention it to your doctor.

It can be quite toxic with some people, so it has to be monitored carefully, but it does a better job than Metoprolol for A/F.

Just a thought from Upside-down Land :D

PS What dosage of Metoprolol were you on?
It all depends on the type when it comes to AF. This is a quick guide --> en.wikipedia.org

Ultimately it depends on the Dr's recommendation, but hopefully it is not a judgement that they make based on the commission that they can earn (scenario applies to the states) based on their drug of choice.

Cheers :)

Better to be on the safe side, especially if your pharmacy is closed for two days due to the weekend (three if it s the long weekend) and you live in the rural area.
