1421039 2016-05-27 02:25:00 Nortons doesnt seem as bad as it once was , perhaps thats because machines are faster .

But it's main problem was the fact that it didn't find ****all.

not so much an issue when norton killed all internet access, or made the machine so slow as it was unusable anyway :devil
cant get viruses after norton makes PC unusable

yeah, bad detection rate for sure
new viruses get past everything now, even Nod on this PC wont detect many infected email attachments. Its gets the older variants, but heaps of new
will get past it.
Just the way things are now, too much new malware coming out daily .

Son had it on...along with another AV. He said it came with something he downloaded so he got a telling off for that....UNTICK the it's going to install!
I didn't give him a choice this time, after cleaning up the mess it was in, I installed NOD32.

1421045 2016-05-28 22:13:00 Is this the man McPHEE who is now running for president. He is quoted as being anti spyware founder Mcafee no doubt.

Seen on tv last night, a Libertarian Party big chief.

1421048 2016-05-29 01:30:00 But if these inadequate Virus software are mass loaded on PC's, who to blame for that? All very well for tech savvy people such as us to deride novice users that use them. Are not the PC/Operating System suppliers ignorant to load them on? Perhaps operator suppliers (MS) should ensure/control reputable AV products are included with the hardware/PC... kahawai chaser (3545)
