I went from 15mbit down 1 mbit up on ADSL to 30 down 10 up fibre , meh not a very noticeable difference. Except on Skype video and sending large attachments and can max out torrents at 3.7MB.s
As for speed over wifi my bedroom Samsung TV connects at 600 Mbit and 300mbit on Samsung tablet in lounge at the other end of the house and thats on the vodafone supplied router the house. Not an issue. You can always update the laptop wifi with a cheap USB wifi adapter. |
