| 1420929 | 2016-05-25 05:40:00 | Well its back again, Talk about a damn PITA !! Power cut this morning due to lightning about 7.45am that lasted roughly 30 minutes, that was OK. But the internet didn't come back till late this afternoon, a call to Vodafone around 8.30 -- they didn't know anything, then the guy had a look at something and went OH bugger -- Half the board has changed to red, meaning there's outages everywhere. Later in the day just before lunch, rang again, apparently 153 people still effected in different areas - no ETA as to when it would be back grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Then whats the first (out of 60+) email I get through now its back ???? 7220 THIS could be 'fun" Stay claim ;) |

| 1420931 | 2016-05-25 10:14:00 | Its a bit hit and miss when things go out. Theres several Nodes over here, its been more than once people in one part of the valley dont have problems yet others do. I went to one guys place in Parkway ( roughly 2 minutes drive if that) and his was fine, yet the other week, a guy down the road from me was having problems and Mine was fine. One of my customers in Pukerua Bay, has just emailed saying over the weekend they had lots of problems with power outages caused by bad weather etc, yet here it was almost like a cool summers day. I know when driving through Otaki on Saturday morning the heavens really opened up to the point of being dangerous to drive. The weather is certainly hitting places in bursts. |
