1420793 2016-05-22 06:18:00 We are sitting down in front of the television with the cat between us when she starts to snore. What do you do with a cat that snores?

We had a small dog a few years ago that used to snore but until recently I had not heard of a cat that snores.

Anyone else have this problem?

1420795 2016-05-22 06:45:00 Send it down to me. My avatar is 15.5 years old and snores very loud. So does SWMBO. And me, according to her. So, whats another snore in a house that is already full of snorers.

1420796 2016-05-22 09:32:00 Yeah our moggie snores but it's not loud enough to be annoying. Driftwood (5551)

We have 2 cats that snore, and when SWMBO snores, it is like living inside an orchestra pit :)

1420798 2016-05-22 09:53:00 My cat snored quite loudly when he was young and had the cat flu. Could be any number of reasons why cats snore. Maybe it's got a blocked nose? Just like a human with a cold, has to breathe through the mouth, which causes snoring. Is the cat overweight? That will also cause snoring. Maybe talk to a vet?

The cat will hold its breath for the rest of its life and won't snore once. Ring now; Operators await your call.

I'd expect that from Prefect, but R2x1?

Cats can and do snore, especially as they get older. But they also catnap, so aren't deep asleep all night like people.
and they are usually quieter.

Great ideas in that book. I used one (that was lying on its back with its legs up in the air) as a CD holder.

Worked well but SWMBO asked me... "what about the smell?"

"Stoopid woman" I said, "it's dead. It won't notice it"
