642370 2008-02-21 05:35:00 Thinking of getting a new computer, so I started looking at some motherboards

From what I've googled, other than the G35, G33, etc chipsets from Intel
what are the other options when choosing a motherboard with onboard graphics these days?
and also supports those new Intel 45nm CPUs...

If there aren't any other good subsitutes, I might wait for G45 from Intel.

642371 2008-02-21 06:32:00 ASUS P5KPL-VM,

LGA775, INTEL Pentium 4/Pentium D/PentiumEE/Core2Duo/Core2EE/Quad-core/45nm

Intel G31/ICH7,

Onboard VGA with 256MB shared memory
PCIeX16*1,

Most of these type just require a BIOS update and they're fine. Theres more, this is just one.

what I'm after is some integrated solution other than from Intel
eg. my current mobo has a onboard geforce4mx on it, while using nforce2 chipset

not that I think Intel is bad, just looking for some other things to compare

642373 2008-02-21 08:18:00 Not sure how available they are in NZ yet but the 7150 series or 7050 from nvidia seem to be what you're after. Normally a mix of 630i and 7150 chipsets hazza87 (12499)
