Click Start/run type in CMD press enter, in the command prompt box type in ipconfig press enter, look for your gateway address. It may be something like 192.168.1.1 or 10.1.1.1 we'll use 198..... for this example. In zone alarm, open the program, click Firewall/ right of the new window click "Zones" Tab / Click "Add" button ( down the Bottom) select IP RANGE. In the top IP box put in 192.168.1.1 Second box 192.168.1.255, call it what ever you want, click Apply, close the windows. This will allow the full range of the router through. If you have a gateway of 10.1.... then its 10.1.1.1 and 10.1.1.255 |

No the wizard did not come up when I reinstalled Zone Alarm Free. Indeed I am convinced from what I have seen and read that Zone Alarm Free does not have a network wizard. Thanks Digby |

Thanks Digby It doesn't have a network wizard, it will pop up asking to allow/deny access from other PC's on your network,( a REAL pain in the Butt) unless you set it up as I instructed in Post #3 |

Thanks very much for your kind assistance. Regards Digby |
