Repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled AVG: no change Manually updated & scanned with AVG, AVGAS: clean Scanned with Adaware & Spybot: Spybot picked up Zlob.Downloader & some other zlob variants, ran scan in safemode, system restore off, seems to have cleaned it. HijackThis analysis seems ok. any suggestions as to why AVG, AVGAS, Defender wont update. |

That can because the viruses/bug have disabled/damaged the security software. go to Nod32 (www.eset.com) and get a better Antivirus , How good Is AVG ?? well a customers PC I've got on the workbench right now HAD AVG - said it had 1 infection - Nod so far at 43% is upto 285 infections - also look in my sig at the spyware doctor - download that and run - as well as Super Antispyware (http://www.superantispyware.com/) Your system could still be infected hence updates not working. |
