| 642170 | 2008-02-20 08:17:00 | I have recently done a bulk scan of all our band's music and now have it all split up into several hundred pdf files of different lengths. Now what I want to do is load the lot onto google documents. Here's the problem because google doesn't support pdf - who's dum idea was that?! They do however support word docs with images in them which is fine by me. Im trying to find some free software that'll take each pdf document and dump each page as an image (which is all it is anyway) into a word doc for each file (not each page). there obviously needs to be a batch option or ill spend all eternity on it. If anyone has any clues that would be awesome! Cheers |

| 642171 | 2008-02-20 08:40:00 | this might work (www.verypdf.com) Looks like can do batch conversion but it isnt free. Altho I dont know if its got any limitations, for the time you can use it How many PDF files have you got?? 20-30?? more? I use Nitro PDF pro, which looks like it converts to word doc, but it isnt free. Or use Openoffice, that opens PDF files natively I think. Then save them as docs |

| 642172 | 2008-02-20 10:16:00 | A program called Free PDF 2 Word Doc Converter (http://www.hellopdf.com/) (1.07 MB, freeware) done the rounds recently and looks to be the best of the lot (most if not all others charge for this functionality, not this program). As legit as it sounds, it is clean, the interface is usable (although non-native which I usually dislike in an app) and is very straight forward to use (select a PDF in one field and hit "Convert"). |
