327282 2005-02-22 01:27:00 Hi

Just wondering if anyone knew the procedure to change mobile phones, I've got a nokia 5120i (025) and it is literally falling to bits. I want to get a new 5120i off trademe and use it (throw the old in out). So how do I get the new phone on the network, do i ring telecom, or can i 'hack' the new phone and programme it with my number or something?

Help/advice much appreciated

327284 2005-02-22 02:13:00 Telecom can change the number over for you.

We had an 025 Nokia phone stolen and Telecom blocked it to prevent usage until we bought a replacement, then changed the number over in just one phone call.

Your mileage may vary.
