They rang up friends of mine and tried to sell them a package and they just kept saying, (politely), "Please, forget it, we're really not interested." And this salesguy finished up by saying "Stay in the eighteenth century then," and hung up. Rude coot. |

Unfortunately, to get the benefit of all the sports channels, they make me pay for all the other garbage that I'm just not interested in. This is where bittorrent comes in handy; being able to watch overseas sports events (albeit not live, but then most of the events that are worth watching are on at awkward times) that other people have kindly uploaded for free. Much better highlights programmes available online too, and generally better coverage with better commentary. Why bother with Sky when I've already got broadband. |

| 327094 | 2006-01-30 01:26:00 | I had Sky digital with movies... quality of movies on the 'free' movie channels went downhill when they put all the good ones on pay-per-view. I see no reason to pay twice when the rest is a load of crap... and sports! Expensive for what it is and nice to think after I moved that I am no longer contributing to their massive profit. :D |
