| 328448 | 2005-03-01 10:16:00 | I agree with Metla, Whilst it may disturb the peace of some people minorly, is it really worth getting all that caught up in? We have some neighbours who meet regularly and play a lot of heavy metal/rock songs in the house next to us in a shed where there is literally no sound-proofing, and their noise can be heard from a good 700m down the road. Do I complain? No.. Do I like heavy metal & rock? Its definately not my fav... Would I laugh if their equipment was taken from them by local authorities? Of course not, its what they love to do! What if one of them was injured, I dunno, a massive speaker fell from the roof onto them (hypothetically)? Most certainly not! Metla, while I must keep your ban in place for 24 hours for the comments, I fully understand what you mean. Still, it could have been put slightly nicer :-/ Sue, while you may not agree with some peoples choice in recreation, I wouldnt think thats a sure-fire way to win friends with comments like that. Theres two sides to every coin, have you seen what it looks like on the other side of yours? |
