You only own software if you write it yourself. You pay to use the software according to the agreement you click on when you install it, the owner, in this case Microsoft, retains all rights. You pay to use the software according to the agreement you click on when you install it, the owner, in this case Microsoft, retains all rights. oh :o, i should really read that aggreement shouldnt i? :p, but still i think it should be that you buy xp and that xp cd is yours and you can do what ever you want with it, except pirating/copy it. i think that the EULA is way too long and too complex to have a read every time you want to install it, not to mention that its boring as hell....... 328183	2005-02-26 23:15:00	I seem to do an endless stream of Hp, dell and compaq reinstalls because of malware/ spyware/ completly bolloxed o/s etc for friends and workmates who have the computer literacy of asparagus. I only do this because its a no brainer , couple of clicks, an hour loading while I play games and bang restored. Buggered if I am going to spend time chatting to microsoft robots to activate them as well.	the highlander (245)
