2005-02-21 23:23:00 | yes, have Sky digital+ movies. Mainly got it for better reception and some decent movies, however have noticed that the movies are turning to crap. Reason seems to be that a) they want you to 'pay per view' ie exta extra for newer movies, b) they now have a spin off renting DVDs by mail/internet. Of course Sky's profit was up 23% last year. I'd say stop ripping the 'loyal' customers off and start offering decent viewing. I'm also annoyed that Rialto channel insists on playing 'documentaries' Tues and thurs evening in prime time... who wants to see documentaries about how wonderful actors are? Think it's time for Sky to go from my house.

2005-02-22 05:48:00 | I think it is good as you can usually always find something interesting to watch in 50+ channels | Dannz (1668) | |
2005-02-22 06:59:00 | No, However the person who lives in the front room has Cable TV on the same account as our phone and Cable internet. Does that count? Personally i can't be bothered with it. :D

2005-02-22 07:11:00 | i would rather spend the money on broadband if i had the opportunity, oh but thats right i cant get broadband :( | Prescott (11) | |
2005-02-22 18:26:00 | Nope. Too expensive! All we would watch would be the Discovery Channel, History, National Geographic, CNN - but there is no cheap option to get just one or more of those choices. Don't need movies - prefer DVDs. | Strommer (42) | |
2005-02-23 00:53:00 | No. Reasons, all as said in previous posts. Eg; To expensive You can't just choose the channels you'd like They keep stuffing thier billing up and over charging If i had the money for sky again, i'd rather have broadband Lazydog

2005-02-23 09:36:00 | Got sky digital, watch movies now & then, sport channels in winter are crap (nothing but rugby or league) espn can be good. I've had it for a few years now, value for money undecided. Keep it on for the time being, when I sell the house i'll rethink it then One big plus, you get a lot less ads. At least a 2 hour film takes 2 hours, unlike free to air & neverending ads. | Phil B (648) | |

Ads drive me nuts but thank God for the Mute button. I actually tape any program that I think may be worthwhile, then zip past the adverts, or if it is a documentary like 60 minutes I go to the part I want to watch and forget the rest. |
