As often is the case, you hit the question with a sledgehammer, seemingly crude and uncaring, but with truth lurking around :@@: somewhere in the answer. Surely what you say is biologically-ecologically true, but unfortunately the magic wand to 'stop the breeding' is not so easy to find. Back to the 70% admin costs: it is just an opinion, unsubstantiated. Not that it should be dismissed, though. But if I contribute 100 dollars to charity, I certainly would not mind if a portion of it, say not more than 25%, would go to those working to make it happen: the people getting my $75 are going to be better off than getting zippo. The world is grossly overpopulated and mankind only has itself to blame for its suffering. Unfortunately certain countries and cultures encourage mass breeding - and then they wonder why they have such problems. Well........I never said we shouldn't feed them and do what can be done to ease the suffering, but the issue is only going to get worse unless they cut out a bit of the nookie. And no, I have no idea how to convince them it would be a good plan, On a program I watched a few years back they put it to a family with numerous dead children (all of whom died from malnutrition,disease) that they and everyone else should stop having so many children, This bought roars of laughter and rippled through the entire camp, They honestly thought the suggestion was just madness and patiently explained to the film crew that they needed children to look after them when they got older or they would die, and that the only way to ensure some survived was to have many. Apparently people were lining up round the block to get these radios with no idea what a vasectomy was or how it would affect them. Something like that anyway.	ninja (1671)
